Wolterinck completely designed the interiors of two wooden chalets in the French Alps town of Chamonix where the dramatic mountain landscape provided an important source of inspiration. The chalets, a main house and a guest house, are connected by an underground wellness area. By using the same materials in both chalets but in different ways, Wolterinck gave each chalet its own character whilst creating a unity between them.
